Refund & Cancellation Policy

At River View Inn, we aim to provide a transparent and fair refund and cancellation process for our guests. Please read the policy carefully before making a reservation.


1. Reservation Confirmation

All bookings at River View Inn are confirmed only after full or partial payment, as applicable. A confirmation message/email will be sent once payment is successfully received.


2. Cancellation Policy

a) Free Cancellation

  • Cancellations made 48 hours before the check-in date are eligible for a full refund.

b) Partial Refund

  • Cancellations made 24 to 48 hours before check-in will be charged one night’s room tariff, and the remaining amount will be refunded.

c) No Refund

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of check-in

  • No-show (guest does not arrive on the check-in date)

  • Early check-out after check-in

In the above cases, no refund will be provided.


3. Modification of Booking

  • Date or room modifications are subject to availability.

  • Any difference in tariff must be paid by the guest.

  • Modified bookings may not be eligible for refund if canceled later.


4. Refund Processing

  • Eligible refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days.

  • Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment only.

  • Bank or payment gateway charges (if any) are non-refundable.


5. Payment Gateway Charges

Convenience fees, transaction charges, or gateway charges collected during booking are non-refundable under all circumstances.


6. Force Majeure

River View Inn shall not be liable for refunds in cases beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions or lockdowns

  • Acts of God or emergencies

In such cases, refund or rescheduling will be at management discretion.


7. Refund for Failed or Duplicate Transactions

  • If the amount is debited but booking is not confirmed, the amount will be refunded automatically within 5–7 working days.

  • Duplicate payments, if verified, will be refunded after confirmation from the payment gateway.


8. Dispute Resolution

Any refund disputes must be raised within 7 days of the transaction date by contacting our support team with payment details.
